Job summary

Big Childcare is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual OSHC Educators to join Heathdale Christian College, Werribee. You will help create a positive experience for children before and after school and during vacation care programs.

As a Casual OSHC Educator, you will supervise and engage children in activities, lead games and crafts, plan age-appropriate programs and maintain a safe, inclusive environment. Full Australian working rights supported by a caring team.

Qualifications

• Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) required.
• Experience in OSHC or childcare is highly regarded.
• Currently studying towards or holding an ACECQA approved qualification.
• Availability for morning and afternoon split shifts.
• Department of Education issued criminal history clearance certificate (within 6 months) or willingness to obtain.
• Full Australian working rights.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and engaging children in fun, educational and recreational activities


• Leading games, sports, arts, crafts and cooking experiences


• Assisting with planning age-appropriate programs


• Setting up and packing down activities and food service areas


• Maintaining a safe, inclusive and supportive environment


• Following company policies, procedures and compliance requirements


• Building positive relationships with children, families, schools and team members


• Be trained as a Responsible Person (RP) to assist the Manager when required.

Essential Requirements
