Job summary

YMCA Burleigh Heads Outside School Hours Care is seeking a dedicated Coordinator to lead a team of educators, design engaging, child-led programs and support a safe, inclusive service on a full-time basis.

You’ll oversee daily operations, strengthen connections with families and local schools, ensure high standards of compliance and safety, and provide career coaching and progression opportunities in a values-driven, not-for-profit environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services or related ECEC/Teaching qualification (or studying towards).
• Experience in children’s programming and service operations.
• Strong communication, leadership and time-management skills.
• A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
• Familiarity with the National Quality Framework.
