Job summary

Big Childcare is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual OSHC Educators to join our Briar Hill team. You will support before/after school and vacation care programs at Sherbourne Primary School in Briar Hill.

You bring energy, care and a commitment to child safety, with WWC checks and your ACECQA‑approved qualification on track. Flexible shifts suit morning and afternoon availability across Northern suburb services.

Qualifications

• Energetic, caring and passionate about working with children.
• Valid Working With Children Check.
• Experience in OSHC or childcare (highly regarded).
• Currently studying towards or holding an ACECQ A approved qualification.
• Availability for morning and afternoon split shifts.
• National Coordinated Criminal Check (within 6 months) or willingness to obtain.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Reliable transport to travel between Northern suburb services if required.
• Strong knowledge of Child Safe Principles, with a demonstrated commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their safety, wellbeing, and inclusion in all aspects of practice.

About the Role

As an OSHC Educator, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for children before school, after school and during vacation care programs.
