Job summary

Big Childcare in Sydney's OSHC program is seeking enthusiastic Casual Educators for Glenwood & Curran to support before- and after-school care and vacation programs.

You will create a fun, safe environment, plan age-appropriate activities, and work with children, families and school staff across multiple sites. Flexible casual hours are available to fit your schedule.

Applicants must have a WWCC, ACECQA-approved qualification, National Police Check and reliable transport to northern suburbs.

Qualifications

• Valid Working with Children Check.
• Experience in OSHC or childcare is highly regarded.
• Currently studying towards, or holding, an ACECQA-approved qualification.
• Availability for morning and afternoon split shifts.
• National Police Check issued within the past six months, or willingness to obtain one.
• Reliable transport to travel between services in the northern suburbs, if required.

Responsibilities

• Keeping children engaged with fun, educational and recreational activities.
• Getting involved in games, sports, arts and crafts, cooking and plenty of creative adventures.
• Helping plan and deliver exciting, age-appropriate programs.
• Setting up and packing away activities, equipment and food service areas.
• Creating a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where every child feels welcome.
