Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) in Sydney is seeking a compassionate coordinator to lead an OSHC service for children aged 5-12 within a supportive team.

You will design and implement engaging educational programs, observe and reflect on activities, maintain strong relationships with families and the school community, and ensure safety and compliance in line with national standards.

Qualifications

• Hold a qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards.
• Previous OSHC experience is preferred.
• Certificate of training in Child Protection is required.
• Valid first-aid certificate is mandatory.
• NSW Working with Children Check is required.
• National child safety training via GECCKO is completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe OSHC service for staff and children aged 5-12 in a team environment.
• Design and implement engaging educational programs with observations and reflection journals.
• Share children's participation and engagement with families.
• Maintain strong relationships with families and the school community.
• Supervise children and ensure health, safety and wellbeing at all times.
