Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services Ltd is seeking an Assistant Coordinator for our OSHC program in NSW. You will help create a safe, engaging environment and support educational activities for school-age children.

The role requires an Early Childhood Education and Care qualification (or progress toward one), OSHC experience, and a NSW Working with Children Check. Training in child safety and first aid is also expected. All team members contribute to a caring, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• A qualification (or be working towards one) in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Previous experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC).
• A valid NSW Working with Children Check.
• Completed the mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO.Register GECCKO.
• A child protection training certificate.
• A First Aid Certificate.
• Current and valid working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Assistant Coordinator to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children.
• Assist in managing attendance and bookings to maintain supervision and safety.
• Support the design and implementation of educational programs.
• Build strong relationships with families and the school community.
• Share children’s experiences and achievements with families.
