Job summary

OSHClub Butler is seeking an Assistant Coordinator to support day‑to‑day operations, lead a team of Educators, and deliver engaging programs for primary school‑aged children. This part‑time role (17 hours/week) includes morning and afternoon splits with training provided to build confidence and leadership.

You may work extra hours during holidays. Ideal candidates hold ACECQA‑recognised WA educator qualifications and will collaborate with regional managers to ensure a safe, fun OSHC environment

• Strong leadership potential with ability to mentor a team of Educators.
• Experience or ability to manage rosters and service operations.
• Familiarity with ACECQA guidelines and WA requirements.

Our Outside School Hours Care service, OSHClub in the Butler area, is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to help support the day-to-day running of the service and deliver engaging programs for primary school-aged children.

This is a great opportunity for someone ready to step into OSHC leadership, with support and training provided to help you build confidence and develop your skills.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 17 hours per week, assisting with the leadership of a team of dedicated Educators.

You’ll work split shifts, supporting our Monday to Friday programs:

Rise then Shine: 6:30am – 8:30am
Stay and Play: 2:15pm – 5:00pm

Additional hours may also be available during the school holidays.

About the role

The role is designed for someone ready to step up and develop as a leader. With support from experienced regional managers and a dedicated state office team, you’ll gain hands‑on leadership experience while making a genuine impact in your local school community.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Help lead and mentor a passionate team of Educators onsite
• Build your confidence in roster management, service operations, compliance, and administration
• Create exciting, child-led programs including STEM, cooking, sport, art, and craft experiences
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, schools, and the wider community
• Develop the skills and experience needed to progress into future management opportunities
• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!)
• State working‑with‑children check
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)

To be considered for this role, you will need to hold a completed relevant ACECQA‑recognised qualification, including:

• WA First Qualified Educator - Have completed a relevant qualification to work as a First Qualified Educator in WAin accordance with ACECQA
