Job summary

Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network in Sydney is seeking a Level 3 Orthotist/Prosthetist to provide extensive specialist orthotic care to patients. The role covers clinical, technical and administrative duties within the Orthotics Department, with autonomous practice in complex cases and potential supervision of junior staff.

This permanent full-time position (38 hours per week) is based at Westmead and includes salary packaging, leave loading and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Provide specialist orthotic care to patients of SCHN.
• Deliver clinical, technical and administrative orthotics services.
• Level 3 Orthotists may supervise staff and lead quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide extensive specialist orthotic care to patients of the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network.
• Manage clinical, technical and administrative aspects of orthotic care within the department.
• Plan, implement, evaluate and report on orthotics services to ensure quality improvement.
