Toowoomba Orthodontists is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Full-Time Dental Assistant or Receptionist to join our busy, fast-paced team in Toowoomba. The role can be clinical or receptionist-focused, with full training provided to the right person.

The successful applicant will be eager to learn, deliver excellent patient care and work well within a friendly team environment as we provide specialist orthodontic care using the latest digital technology.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic to learn and patient-focused.
• Full training provided.
• Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous dental assisting or reception experience advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with chairside orthodontic procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for procedures.
• Maintain infection control and sterilisation standards.
• Assist with laboratory duties.
• Use dental practice management software.
• Support clinical team to deliver patient care.
• Answer and direct telephone enquiries.
• Provide professional face-to-face patient communication.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments.
• Prepare treatment documentation and paperwork.
• Write correspondence and letters.
• General administrative duties including filing, banking and mail processing.
• Support the Practice Manager and wider team as required.
