Job summary

Underwood Executive is seeking an experienced Organisational Development (OD) Specialist to drive a progressive people and culture agenda across leadership capability, L&D, engagement, DE&I, wellbeing and change. You will work with a supportive People & Culture team to turn strategy into practical outcomes for an operational workforce.

An opportunity has emerged for an experienced Organisational Development (OD) Specialist to join a progressive, values-led organisation and play a key role in delivering an ambitious people and culture agenda. Working across leadership capability, learning and development, employee engagement, DE&I, cultural safety, wellbeing and change, this is a broad role offering the opportunity to influence strategy while remaining genuinely hands-on in delivery. With strong executive support and a collaborative People & Culture team, you will have the backing to turn ideas into meaningful and practical outcomes.

Partnering across the organisation, you will design and deliver leadership and learning programs, lead working and reference groups, interpret employee engagement insights and develop recommendations for senior leaders. You will contribute to talent and succession initiatives, inclusion and cultural safety programs, organisational change and the continued evolution of employee wellbeing and psychosocial safety. This role will suit someone who enjoys building trusted relationships quickly, can navigate complexity and ambiguity, and knows how to adapt contemporary OD thinking to the practical needs of an operational workforce.

A well-rounded OD professional, you will bring demonstrated capability across L&D design and facilitation, stakeholder engagement, change, executive-level writing and influencing senior leaders. Experience contributing to DE&I strategies and Reconciliation Action Plans will be highly regarded, as will experience working within an operational or frontline environment.
