Job summary

Staff Australia Pty Ltd. is seeking experienced warehouse pickers in Melbourne to join a busy distribution centre. You will use RF scanners and voice-picking technology, operate electric ride-on tuggers, and perform manual handling and pallet wrapping as part of a high-volume operation.

The role requires flexibility for day or afternoon shifts, strong attention to detail, and reliability. Immediate start and potential for ongoing permanent work are offered, with on-site parking available.

Job description

Our client is a well known Australian retail brand who are looking for experienced, reliable and motivated pickers with hands on experience using RF scanners, voice-picking technology and tugger equipment.

Working in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment, you'll be responsible for accurately picking and moving stock, maintaining productivity and helping ensure orders are dispatched safely and efficiently. If you have strong warehouse experience, a solid focus on safety and the ability to thrive in a busy team environment, we want to hear from you.

Hours:

Day Shift - 6am - 2pm $42.34 p/hr

Afternoon Shift - 2pm - 10pm $47.42 p/hr

Please note this is a busy, fast-paced DC that operates year-round, so full availability is essential, including weekends, public holidays and throughout the Christmas and New Year period.

Key Responsibilities:

As part of the DC team, your main responsibilities will include:

• Bulk order picking using voice technology and RF scanners
• Operating electric ride on tuggers
• Manual handling - including heavy lifting
• Stacking and wrapping pallets
• Inventory control and stock management
• General warehouse duties as required

About You:

To be successful in this opportunity you will possess the following:

• Previous picking experience in a fast paced warehouse environment
• Previous experience with voice technology
• Ability to confidently and safely operate electric ride on tugger
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet KPI's
• Reliable and punctual
