Job summary

Stahmann Webster, a leading Australian agribusiness, seeks an Orchard Supervisor to support the Orchard Manager in leading day-to-day orchard operations. Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience within a large-scale orchard or agricultural operation.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory role within the horticultural industry.
  • Current Australian Driver Licence.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Well-developed organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
  • Willingness to undertake weekend, shift and on-call arrangements during peak seasonal periods.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, lead and train orchard staff and contractors.
  • Ensure work programs are completed safely, on time and within budget.
  • Monitor productivity and performance to achieve operational targets.
  • Maintain compliance with WHS, quality and operational procedures.
  • Participate in daily orchard activities and field operations.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings as required.
  • Maintain accurate farm records and operational documentation.
  • Assist with administration including irrigation records, spray diaries and data management.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across orchard operations.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Orchard Supervisor to support the Orchard Manager in leading the day-to-day operations of our orchard.

This is a hands‑on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys combining practical field work with team supervision, operational planning and administration. You will play a key role in ensuring safe, productive and efficient orchard operations while fostering a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, lead and train orchard staff and contractors
