Job summary

ameygroupi is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to deliver high-quality civil design and water engineering solutions in New South Wales, Australia. You will contribute from concept to completion, collaborate with the Engineering Team Lead, and drive project planning, reporting, and client engagement.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline.
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in the industry.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) is desirable.
• Excellent communicator with well developed leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Practical experience with the development approval process with Local Authorities.
• Exposure to a broad range of engineering issues and concepts.
• Knowledge of systems and procedures relating to the role, including practical knowledge, principles and methods of engineering, and relevant codes, standards and engineering legislation.
• Ability to use information technology, including AutoCAD, 12D Solutions, DRAINS, Microsoft Office Programs and any other applicable software packages.

As a SeniorCivil Design Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions across a variety of projects. Your responsibilities will span design and drafting, project planning and management, technical calculations, and the preparation of reports including feasibility studies and due diligence assessments. You’ll work closely with the Engineering Team Lead and contribute to a wide range of civil engineering projects from concept to completion.
