Job summary

The Constructive Collective is seeking a civil design professional with 4–6 years of experience in land development or urban infrastructure to join its Sydney team. You will design roads, drainage, earthworks and prepare drawings for construction, collaborating with survey, geo and environmental teams.

You will work on landmark projects, enjoy clear pathways to senior growth, mentoring, and flexible work options while delivering practical, high-quality design solutions.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in civil design for land development or urban infrastructure.
• Solid skills in roads, stormwater/drainage, earthworks, pavements, OSD and WSUD and preparing drawings and sections.
• Experience in Civil works related to Subdivisions, Industrial Warehousing essential.
• Strong competence with Civil 3D, MUSIC & DRAINS – essential.
• Ability to manage your own design tasks with minimal direction.
• Clear communication and a collaborative approach with colleagues, clients and project partners.

Responsibilities

• Produce road layouts, drainage designs, levels and bulk earthworks for urban development projects.
• Prepare quality drawings and documentation ready for construction.
• Coordinate with survey, geo, and environmental teams to ensure smooth design delivery.
• Participate in project reviews and design improvements.
• Support project managers during tender and construction stages when design queries arise.
