Job summary

Dental2you Pty Ltd is expanding its mobile optical team to service Toowoomba and surrounding areas, delivering eye care directly to childcare centres, kindergartens and primary schools. This role focuses on performing comprehensive and brief eye exams for young children with a friendly, engaging approach.

You will travel between sites with an assigned assistant, report using our custom software, and benefit from equipment provided and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Qualified AHPRA registered Optometrist with a provider number.
• Must have professional indemnity insurance.
• Passion for working with children and a friendly approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive and brief eye exams for young children (typical age 3 and under).
• Emphasise early detection and preventive care.
• Travel to childcare centres, kindergartens and primary schools.
• Work with an assigned assistant and use reporting software (training provided).

Join our mobile optical team serving the Toowoomba and surrounding areas. We bring eye care services directly to Child Care Centres, Kindergartens, and Primary Schools. This role involves conducting comprehensive and brief eye exams for typically 3-year-olds, sometimes under 3, with an emphasis on early detection and preventive care to give kids a great start in life.

About you

• Qualified AHPRA registered Optometrist with own provider number
• Own professional indemnity insurance
• Passion for working with children and a fun, friendly approach
• Car and driver's license required
• Ability to carry mobile kit (provided)
• Flexible working days during school times, school holidays off
• Available Tuesday - Thursday only, usually 8.30am-12.30pm, sometimes later
• Willing to travel; extra kms paid
