EssilorLuxottica Australia seeks a dedicated Optical Mechanic to join our Victoria Fit Centre. You will work with precision instruments to assemble, adjust and maintain lenses and eyewear, ensuring top quality for customers.

Fabricate and fine‑tune optical components, diagnose defects, calibrate equipment, and collaborate with optometrists and lab technicians to meet exacting specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience or formal training in optical mechanics, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity and precision.
• Familiarity with optical measurement tools, grinding, and polishing techniques.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to upholding the highest standards of workmanship and customer service.

Essilor Australia is seeking a dedicated and skilled Optical Mechanic to join our Essilor Victoria Fit Centre team. This critical role involves working with precision optical instruments to ensure the highest quality lenses and eyewear products are delivered to our customers. As an Optical Mechanic, you will be responsible for assembling, adjusting, repairing, and maintaining optical devices, contributing significantly to enhancing visual health solutions.

In this position, you will apply your technical expertise to fabricate, assemble, and fine‑tune optical components and instruments. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and quality of our products, supporting the well‑being of our clients. You will collaborate closely with other specialists in the field, including optometrists and lab technicians, to meet both customer and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
