Oscar Wylee Pty in Mackay is seeking an Optical Dispenser to blend fashion retail with eye care. You will dispense lenses and frames based on prescriptions from our Optometrists and offer personalised eyewear styling to help customers find frames that suit their vision and style.

Join a busy Mackay store at Caneland Central with a supportive team. You will assist with opening/closing duties, deliver outstanding service, and build trusting relationships with customers and colleagues while

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in the optical industry, or 2+ years retail sales experience.
• Reliable with previous experience in store opening/closing duties.
• Strong attention to detail with basic mathematical skills.
• A confident, clear and proactive worker with strong communication skills.
• Capable of building trusting and respectful relationships with co-workers and customers alike.
• A go-getter with a positive and friendly manner, ready to provide customers with outstanding service!

Responsibilities

• Providing outstanding eye care and eyewear styling advice tailored to each patient and potential clientele who enter the store.
• Dispensing lenses and frames based on the prescription of each patient, provided by our Optometrists.
• Building meaningful and affirmingrelationships with our patients- give them a reason to visit us again!

The Optical Dispenser role seamlessly blends together fashion retail and healthcare. The diverse responsibilities of the role involve:

You will work closely with your fellow team members to ensure customers receive individualised and professional fashion advice and eye care, so they can take home frames that suit their personal style, and allow for perfect vision!
