Job summary

Specsavers Pty. Ltd. is hiring an Optical Assistant for a part-time role 3-4 days a week.

You will greet customers, guide bookings, assist with pre-testing, and help our optometrists ensure smooth appointments. Training will be provided to build confidence in optical dispensing and customer service. As you progress, there are opportunities to advance and learn toward an optical dispensing certificate with full funding.

Qualifications

• You’re passionate about customer service and improving lives.
• Full training will be provided.
• No optics experience required; suitable for career starters.

Responsibilities

• Greet, guide and book customers; manage bookings for visits.
• Support the experts by guiding patients through pre-testing.
• Dispense glasses and advise on lens options for customers.
• Be the customer experience champion and ensure satisfaction.
