OPSM Mona Vale, part of Luxottica, seeks a passionate Optometrist to deliver exceptional eyecare using world-class equipment. You will conduct eye examinations, recommend lens solutions, and explain technology to customers while mentoring graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduate or experienced Optometrist with a passion for eyecare.
• Ability to perform comprehensive eye examinations and manage diverse patient cases.
• Strong communication to explain lens technologies and options.
• Willingness to mentor Graduate Optometrists and collaborate with the team.

Responsibilities

• Perform eye examinations for a broad range of customers including kids and contact lenses.
• Confidently recommend lens solutions based on lifestyle.
• Explain lens technology and product features to customers.
• Coach and mentor Graduate Optometrists in technology usage.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and Optometrists to maximise Eyecare revenue.

Your Opportunity

As a recent graduate or experienced Optometrist in our Mona Vale store you will get to work with world class technology including Visual Field Analyser, Optos UWDRS and OCT. You will also understand the lives behind the eyes and identify how OPSM can help maximise a customer’s lifestyle enjoyment factor with appropriate eyecare, while providing the highest level of tailored customer service.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform eye examinations for a broad range and scope of customers by taking on different types of appointments e.g. kids, contact lenses, therapeutics etc.
• Confidently recommend lens solutions based on customer lifestyles
• Clearly explain lens technology, communicatingthe features and benefits of lens products tocustomers including coatings and extras
• Coach and mentor Graduate Optometrists in the usage and recommendation of technology to customers
• Work with the Store Manager and Managing Optometrists to maximise Eyecare revenue, including but not limited to technology, Optometry labour efficiencies and appropriate Medicare billing
