Job summary

GNB Energy Pty Ltd is seeking operators with hands-on experience in road lighting, ITS signals, and URD projects to contribute to diverse utility works across Queensland. The role emphasises safety, quality procedures, and the ability to work with various cabling and cabinet installations.

The successful candidate will work in a physically demanding environment, undertaking conduit installation, pits, and cabinet footings while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety, and

Qualifications

• Experience working on road lighting, ITS signals and URD projects including conduit works, pits and footings for cabinets.
• Must be a safety leader and commit to quality and safety procedures and work instructions.
• Desirable: EnergEx CAMS training.
• Experience with TMR and Energex subdivision works.
• Current Open HR truck licence with experience and plant tickets.
• Ability to work unsupervised and demonstrates good problem solving and time management.
• Role is hands-on and requires high physical fitness; strong communication and literacy.

Qualifications and Experience Needed:

• Experience working on road lighting, ITS traffic signals and URD Projects doing conduit works, pits, footings, culverts, plinths for cabinets
• Must be a safety leader and willing to commit to quality and safety procedures and work instructions

Desirable but not mandatory:

• Current Energex CAMS training
• Experience working on TMR and Energex Subdivison works
• Current Open HR truck licence with experience
• Plant tickets
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Excellent problem solving and time management skills
• The role is “hands on” and requires a good level of physical fitness
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
• Good level of literacy
