Veolia is seeking an experienced Operator Maintainer to operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment assets at client sites across the Pilbara. This hands-on role offers varied work, autonomy and a path to develop your career with a global leader in environmental services.

This permanent, Pilbara-based role includes a tool of trade vehicle, training, travel to client sites, and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Experience in water or wastewater treatment operations preferred.
• Mechanical trade qualification is required.

Responsabilités

• Operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment plants
• Monitoring plant performance and supporting process optimisation
• Collecting water samples and completing associated documentation
• Completing routine inspections and identifying maintenance needs
• Performing routine and reactive maintenance
• Managing work orders, spare parts, tools and equipment
• Coordinating contractors and maintaining positive client relationships
• Completing operational, compliance and performance reports
• Contributing to safe work practices and continuous improvement

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment plants
• Monitoring plant performance and supporting process optimisation
• Collecting water samples and completing associated documentation
• Completing routine inspections and identifying maintenance needs
• Performing routine and reactive maintenance
• Managing work orders, spare parts, tools and equipment

Regular travel to client sites across the Pilbara is required and may include overnight stays.

Some evening and weekend work may also be needed to meet operational requirements.
