Halliburton in Brisbane seeks an entry-level Cementing Operator to learn basic oil well operations in the Cementing division, including pipe capacities, volumes, hydrostatic calculations and additive weights. The role reports to the Service Coordinator and operates on an even-time 3/3 FIFO roster flying from Brisbane, QLD.

You will develop skills to operate cementing equipment, assist pre-job tests, rig-up/rig-down at the well site, and perform safety-focused vehicle inspections.

Qualifications

• Current Unrestricted HC licence.
• Strong focus on safety and operational awareness.
• Able to work a physically active hands-on role.
• Dedicated team player with aptitude for learning.
• Forklift and/or Loader ticket (Desirable)

• Adhere to fatigue & journey management and defensive driving principles.

You will mainly be responsible for learning basic oil well operations in our Cementing division, including but not limited to:

Pipe capacities and volume/height math

Absolute volumes including total water requirements for job

Hydrostatic and differential pressure

Calculations to include liquid additives and weighted spacers

Pressure to reverse and/or determining burst and collapse

This is an entry-level position that reports to the Service Coordinator and will be offered on an even time 3/3 FIFO roster flyingfrom Brisbane, QLD.
