Job summary

Boart Longyear is expanding its Water Well drilling operations and is seeking Driller Assistants with a strong commitment to Health & Safety and teamwork. This is a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth, offering a full-time permanent position with competitive base rates, site accommodation and meals provided.

Responsibilities include daily pre-start checks, assisting with drilling fluids and cement, loading/unloading heavy vehicles, and maintaining a hazard-free site.

Qualifications

• HR-B or HR Unrestricted Driver's License (or working toward)
• C Class Manual Driver's License
• Pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol test
• National Police Clearance within 6 months (or ability to obtain one)
• Currently living in Western Australia (WA)

• Assist with mixing drilling muds/fluids/chemicals/cement
• Assist with loading and unloading heavy vehicles and rig set up
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment

A few things we’re looking for:

• HR-B or HR Unrestricted Drivers License (or working towards is essential)
• Current C Class Manual Driver's License (essential)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol test and full functional assessment
• National Police Clearance within 6 months (or ability to obtain one)
• Currently living in WA (essential)

All candidates will be required to submit a recent National PoliceClearance and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical.
