Job summary

Veolia ANZ is seeking a Driver with a HR licence to join our Townsville team and support Veolia's Waste services. You will safely operate Frontlift, Hooklift and Liquid vehicles and contribute to the collection of waste and recyclables on long-term contracts.

This full-time role offers career progression, with a Monday–Friday roster and some weekend work/overtime. The position requires a safety-first mindset and compliance with Veolia's AlwaysSafe culture.

• Good geographical knowledge of Townsville and surrounding suburbs.
• Safety conscious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate Frontlift, Hooklift and Liquid vehicles for Veolia's Waste line of business.
• Collect waste and recyclables on secured long-term contracts.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Learn to operate a range of fleet and equipment.
• Maintain accurate paperwork.

To safely operate Frontlift, Hooklift and Liquid vehicles for Veolia's Waste line of business. This opportunity offers full time work and opportunities for career progression.

What you'll be responsible for

Working on secure long term contracts collecting waste and recyclables

Collection and transportation of multiple waste streams to disposal locations

Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Ability to learn to operate a range of fleet and equipment

Attention to detail for all paperwork
