About the Role

ARC is looking for a new team member to join our Wollongong branch as an Operator where you will be operating machinery to shape & cut reinforcing bar.

You'll become part of a small yet high-performing team where your responsibilities will include achieving KPIs and fostering a safety-first culture. This role provides hands-on experience in steel processing, pre-fabrication, and distribution, with opportunities for career progression and development.

This is an Afternoon shift role and the working hours are Monday to Friday – 1:50pm – 9:30pm.

As a Key Member Of The Team

• Operate machinery to shape and cut reinforcing bar and mesh
• Operate an overhead crane
• Accurately pick and pack orders
• Load and unload trucks for customers or our drivers
• Move trucks inside and outside of the warehouse
• Promote and contribute to a safe workplace

To be successful in this role you will value collaborative working environments and promote a safety-first culture. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume role that requires attention to detail and time management skills to meet KPIs.
