Marken Time Critical Express Limited in Adelaide is seeking an Operations Team Leader to manage day-to-day operations, coordinate across departments and external vendors, and serve as the main contact for drivers.
You will monitor bookings, movements and special instructions, oversee export and dispatch activities, and ensure compliance with international regulations. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential in this fast-paced, global logistics environment.

Marken offers a state-of-the-art GMP-compliant depot network and logistic hubs for clinical drug product storage and distribution worldwide, and supports cell and gene therapy logistics services from clinical to commercial, while maintaining the leading position for Direct-to-Patient and Home Healthcare services, biological sample shipments and biological kit production.
The Operations Team Leader assists with the day to day running of the operations department, liaise between different internal departments and external vendors. This role will monitor and control bookings, movements, and special instructions and be the main point of contact for drivers, monitor POB, POD.
Export operations –creating SLI, preparing labels and export pack for driver
Driver scheduling – overseeing the routing of jobs for drivers as needed
Dispatch - Scanning freight, accounting for freight Providing coverage for dispatch staff when they are on leave
Singapore console counts – physical freight matches the system
Problem solving – assisting supervisor with any discrepancies
Credo – Preparing and approving
Overseeing facility as required
Domestic bookings as required
Dealing with different departments on all facets of the business
Dealing with sub-contractors and vendors
Track and trace on shipments as required
Airline bookings and other arrangements
In conjunction with you manager, ensuring the company vans are serviced on a regular basis and are within a safe and working order.
5-year background and work experience in Operations
Knowledge on international compliance & security regulations
Strong analytical and leadership skills.

Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization.
Ability to look at situations from several points of view
Dangerous Goods Qualified / DG Awareness (advantageous)
Cold chain, pharmaceutical & process driven background (advantageous)
