Operations Support Manager - Early Childhood Education & Care

Explore & Develop early childhood education and care services are individually owned and operated and trade collectively under the Explore & Develop franchise brand. The Explore & Develop Support Office are seeking the skills of an experienced Operations Manager / Workplace Trainer to join our Support Office team. You will be based in Lane Cove, but travel to our services on a regular basis to support and guide our services in all aspects of operations, compliance, pedagogy and practice.

Qualifications & experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience running a service at Director level
• Degree qualified Early Childhood Teacher
• TAE Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
• Valid working with Children Check
• Knowledge of the NQF, Education & Care Services Regulations & Law, EYLF, NQS, A&R Process
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and achieve outcomes
• Strong understanding of pedagogical practice and research
• Proven ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Can do attitude and the ability to multi-task
• Team Player

Tasks & responsibilities

• Verbal, written and face to face support guiding practice and pedagogy delivery ensuring embedded practices
• Operational support in line with regulations
• Mentor and assess Certificate III and Diploma Trainees
• Build strong, collaborative partnerships with all Franchise owners and their teams
• Provide support and guidance through the A&R Process
• Contribute ideas to our annual Professional Development calendar and facilitate sessions with Educational Leaders and Nominated Supervisors
• Contribute ideas and look for ways to enhance, innovate and improve systems and support delivery.
