Job summary

Hop Products Australia is seeking an organised Operations Support Manager to coordinate day-to-day admin and operational support across its Victorian farming and processing operations in Myrtleford. This full-time, site-based role reports to the Farm Manager and works with a small administrative team to keep operations running smoothly, safely and compliantly.

• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a small administration team, ensuring efficient delivery of operational and administrative support services across the Victorian farming and processing operations.
• Provide high-level operational support to the Farm Manager, Processing Facility Manager and General Manager Operations, coordinating day-to-day activities.
• Act as central point of communication between management, employees, contractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Collate, verify and analyse operational and production data to support reporting, continuous improvement and business decision making.
• Support operational teams to maintain compliance with company procedures, management systems and reporting requirements by monitoring records, identifying gaps and following up corrective actions.
• Coordinate office administration, procurement activities and contractor compliance requirements, including onboarding documentation, licences and insurances.
• Lead seasonal workforce administration activities, including recruitment coordination, onboarding and employee record management.
• Maintain HR and payroll information within Employment Hero, provide payroll administration support and coordinate workers compensation and Return to Work activities.
• Facilitate and participate in audits, meetings, investigations and continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality and operational management systems.

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Support Manager to coordinate the day-to-day administrative and operational support functions of our Victorian farming and processing operations.

Reporting to the Farm Manager and leading a small administrative team, you will provide critical support to the Farm Manager, Processing Facility Manager and General Manager Operations. Acting as a central point of communication across the business, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our operations run efficiently, safely and compliantly.

This is a full-time, site-based position located my Myrtleford Victoria.
