Job summary

CAE in Sydney, NSW seeks a senior operations professional to lead project controllers and oversee governance, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting across multiple projects. You will drive performance, cost control, and portfolio reporting while coordinating workforce planning and capacity management.

You will provide analyses to support planning and decision-making, partnering with customers and project teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Project Management, Engineering, Facilities Management or related discipline.
• 7+ years' experience in operations, service delivery, project controls, project management or business operations.
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in project governance, reporting, planning and performance management.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams.
• Ability to work from our Homebush, NSW site.
• Australian Citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Project Management, Engineering, Facilities Management or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in project governance, reporting, planning and performance management.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams.

• Australian Citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, APMP or Agile Project Management certification.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Experience with Planisware, MS Project, SAP, Oracle, SharePoint and Power BI.
• Experience within Defence, Aerospace, Aviation, Engineering or Technology sectors.
