Job summary

CAE Inc. is seeking an Operations and Service Delivery Lead to drive operational excellence across defence and aerospace projects.

You will manage a small team of Project Controllers, oversee governance, cost control, reporting and capacity planning to ensure successful outcomes for complex programs. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in operations or project controls, with leadership experience and eligibility for Defence clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Project Management, Engineering, Facilities Management or a related discipline.
• 7+ years' experience in operations, service delivery, project controls, project management or business operations.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in project governance, reporting, planning and performance management.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams.
• Ability to work from Homebush, NSW site.
• Australian Citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.

Role Overview

The Operations and Service Delivery Lead is responsible for leading a broad range of operational and service delivery support functions, including project governance and administration, project cost control, business reporting and resource planning. Reporting to the Manager, Integration and Service Delivery, this role leads a small team of Project Controllers and acts as the key integration point between customers, business stakeholders, project teams, service providers and operational teams. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to drive operational excellence, improve service delivery outcomes and influence business performance across a complex Defence and Aerospace environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Project Management, Engineering, Facilities Management or a related discipline.
• 7+ years' experience in operations, service delivery, project controls, project management or business operations.
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in project governance, reporting, planning and performance management.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams.
• Ability to work from our Homebush, NSW site.
• Australian Citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, APMP or Agile Project Management certification.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Experience with Planisware, MS Project, SAP, Oracle, SharePoint and Power BI.
• Experience within Defence, Aerospace, Aviation, Engineering or Technology sectors.

Location

Homebush, NSW. Your role may involve occasional national and international travel.
