Job summary

Premier Retail is seeking a Graduate or Analyst to join our Operations Reporting team in Melbourne. You will prepare and maintain operational and financial reports, support data processing activities, and ensure the integrity of key business information including sales, gross profit and GHG emissions.

Working with stakeholders in Retail Operations and Finance, you’ll ensure timely, reliable reporting and seek ways to streamline processes and boost reporting efficiency.

Qualifications

• Business/Finance/IT/Data Analytics or related discipline qualification (or working towards one).
• Strong Excel skills and experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Experience with reporting, data analysis or workforce management systems (Dayforce advantageous).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive mindset with interest in learning and improving processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports (sales, gross profit, store performance, P&L, sustainability).
• Assist with monthly journals, data extracts and reconciliations.
• Investigate data discrepancies and work with stakeholders to ensure reliable information.
• Assist with reporting system administration, troubleshooting and validation.
• Support tracking and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and sustainability metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and data quality.
• Collaborate with Retail Operations, Finance and wider teams to provide analytical support.
