We’re seeking a motivated Operations / Fabrication Manager to lead our client's Edinburgh North operation. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee daily activities, support a highly skilled team, and make sure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage day-to-day branch operations across fabrication, distribution, financials, operations and customer service.
  • Work with the Production Manager and mentor a small workshop team, fostering a safe and positive environment.
  • Oversee stock, suppliers, and scheduling to keep jobs moving smoothly.
  • Monitor site performance and provide updates to management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years’ leadership experience in the steel or fabrication industry.
  • Practical knowledge of welding, fabrication processes, and Australian standards.
  • Strong people leadership skills with a “lead by example” approach.
  • Confidence in managing budgets, KPIs, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving ability.
