Job summary

SKG Radiology in WA is seeking an experienced Operations Manager/Chief MIT to lead our new Baldivis branch. The role combines clinical on-the-tools work with leadership to build a high-performing team and deliver exceptional patient care.

You will oversee daily operations, maximise bookings and revenue, and ensure compliance across CT and MRI services. Weekend rosters may apply; vaccination evidence is required prior to commencement.

Operations Manager/Chief Medical Imaging Technologist

About the role & key responsibilities

SKG is expanding! Our new Baldivis branch, on the corner of Safety Bay Road and Nairn Drive, is set to open in early 2027. This branch will be a fully comprehensive site including MRI, CT, General X-Ray, Bone Densitometry, OPG & Cone Beam CT, Ultrasound, FNA, biopsies and Interventional procedures.

We are seeking a suitably experienced qualified Chief MIT or Senior Medical Imaging Technologist, equipped with leadership flair, looking for the next step in their career. This is a unique opportunity to lead your team in getting this branch up and running and ensuring its continued success, creating loyal and long-lasting referrer relationships from scratch. Due to being a full comprehensive site, our successful applicant must hold high level skills in both CT and MRI.

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily branch operations, ensuring all available resources are used effectively to maximise bookings and revenue, as well as motivating and leading the technical and clerical teams to produce consistent, quality results. This role has a blend of clinical ‘on the tools’ work and leadership responsibility, ensuring a varied and challenging work day.

Valid AHPRA Registration & WA Radiation Licence

Please note that the successful candidate is required to provide evidence of vaccination/immunity/screening to a list of vaccine-preventable diseases prior to commencement of employment.

This is a Full Time position worked as 75 hours per fortnight.

As our branch grows, there may be requirement to participate in weekend rosters.
