Cleanaway Waste Management is seeking an Operations Manager to lead safe, efficient, and customer-focused site operations at Wingfield. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will drive performance, optimise resources, and develop a high-performing team.

This role offers scope to improve site performance, leadership development, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring compliance and sustainable waste management outcomes for the Wingfield site.

The Opportunity

About You

You are an experienced operational leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and leads by example. With a strong focus on safety, performance, and customer outcomes, you know how to engage teams, solve problems, and deliver results while driving continuous improvement.

Your Experience And Capabilities

• Proven experience in an Operations Manager or similar leadership role within transport, logistics, manufacturing, waste management, or an industrial environment.
• Demonstrated track record of leading and developing operational teams while building a strong safety culture.
• Experience managing operational budgets, cost control initiatives, and performance improvement programs.
• Strong knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance requirements, including hazardous materials or dangerous goods operations.
• Ability to drive operational efficiencies, optimise resources, and improve service delivery against key performance targets.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and customer relationship skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to prioritise and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in chemical waste, manufacturing, or hazardous logistics.
