Job summary

Rentokil Pest Control is seeking an Operations Excellence Manager in Australia to lead operational excellence across the country, focusing on staff resource management, productivity, and continuous improvement. You will drive, trial, and deploy new models after gaining stakeholder buy-in, ensuring services meet customer needs at optimal cost.

The role requires deep operational and technical knowledge, change management, and capability to influence cultural shifts toward performance.

Qualifications

• Essential requirement: a business qualification (degree or diploma) or relevant experience in delivering scaled business.
• At least 5 years of experience in a business leadership role with profit and loss accountability.
• Proven track record of managing large, remote teams (5+ years).
• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and deliver effective solutions (5+ years).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence and build relationships at all organisational levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital agenda development and deployment from an operational perspective.
• Provide operational input for infield technology development and support ongoing updates.
• Develop current and future operational leaders and support branches.
• Source and contribute to local and global innovation plans.
• Analyze productivity opportunities and drive procedural and cultural changes.
• Review and refine technical training for quality and effectiveness.
• Support training system migrations and sponsor reporting to drive performance.
• Manage staff resources and plan retention improvements.
