As the first point of contact for many of our clients, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming, professional and supportive experience while helping our clinicians provide exceptional psychological care.
QPG is currently recruiting Casual and Part-Time Operations Assistant roles to join our exciting team in Mackay.
This role operates within the Client Relationship Team of QPG and is suited to someone who genuinely enjoys supporting people, takes pride in creating a welcoming environment, and wants to contribute to a practice that values kindness, professionalism and continual improvement.
Some of the requirements, duties and responsibilities of this role include:
Desired: Experience within psychology, allied health or medical settings.
Essential: Previous administration or customer service experience, as well as strong organisational, and team coordination skills.
Desired: Qualifications in health administration or similar is highly regarded.
Desired: Knowledge of the various funding streams in Mental Health will be highly regarded i.e. Medicare, NDIS and Workcover Qld.
Desired: Experience with health-related practice management software including ‘Halaxy’ will be highly regarded.
Customer service focused: committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels – written, phone and face to face.
Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience is essential.
Conflict management: the ability to be able to assist clients and staff with management of complaints and difficulties.
Attention to detail: excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally.
Ability to prioritise: the ability to look at a task list and work out what is important, and the ability to manage others' expectations.
Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and collaborate with team members.
Time management/organisation: accomplish objectives effectively within time frames given and carry out administrative duties in an efficient and timely manner.
Warm, professional and approachable.
Calm and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
Highly organised and dependable.
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
Genuine care for people and strong interpersonal skills.
Possession of a C class motor vehicle license.
Blue Card.
Criminal History Check.
First Aid highly regarded.
