Job summary

Albury Wodonga Health is seeking an Operational Service Development Project Support Officer to assist the OSDT with administrative and coordination tasks during a major transformation. The role supports project delivery, reporting and scheduling to ensure service changes proceed smoothly.

Working within a public health setting, you will handle confidential data, collaborate with clinical teams and stakeholders, and help maintain timelines under pressure while contributing to improved patient

Qualifications

  • Qualifications in project management, business management or administrative support (certifications or higher).
  • Experience within a public health setting with project or administrative support for teams.
  • Exposure to service development, change management, and project implementation in clinical service delivery.
  • Experience in data collation and management.
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality with sensitive data.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills for consultation and collaboration.
  • High level computer literacy with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Experience in high-pressure environments with tight timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative, coordination and operational project support to the OSDT.
  • Assist with redesigns and implementation of new models of care and service delivery changes during the AWRHP transformation.
  • Support documentation, reporting, scheduling and stakeholder coordination for projects.

The Albury Wodonga Health Operational Service Development Team (OSDT) are responsible for overseeingthesuccessfulredesign,implementationofnewmodelsof careandsubsequentservice deliverychanges whilstensuring clinical servicecontinuityforservicesimpactedbytheAlbury WodongaRegionalHospital Project(the AWRHP).

The Operational Service Development Project Support Officer is a key role in supporting the OSDT with high-level administrative, coordination and operational project support to ensure positive outcomes through a critical and exciting phase of transformation at AWH.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualifications in project management, business management or administrative support (certifications or higher).
  • Experience within a public health setting, with demonstrated project or administrative support experience for teams.
  • Demonstrated exposure to service development, change management, and project implementation, particularly in the context of clinical service delivery in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience in data collation and management.
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality requirements relating to the management of sensitive data.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills to facilitate consultation, negotiation, and collaboration.
  • High level computer literacy and advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and other applications.
  • Experience in working in a high-pressure environment with tight timelines on project deliverables.

Employment Type: This is a part-time 20-hour-a-week fixed-term opportunity until January 2028.
