A leading financial services company in Sydney is seeking an Operational Risk Manager/Senior Manager to oversee complex trading risks. Join our dynamic and growing Commodities and Global Markets Group as an Operational Risk Manager / Senior Manager. Our team consists of Operational Risk specialists, who support our business globally on complex trading risks, to ensure that the key operational risks are being effectively managed and monitored.
In office attendance is required for this role 3-4 days per week.
This role is a 12 month maximum term contract.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Financial Markets to deliver strategic advice on managing end-to-end risks and enhancing the control environment. You will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including trading desks and support teams, playing a pivotal role in fostering a robust operational risk culture, driving continuous improvement in processes and controls across the business.
You will support the business on the articulation of risk issues and controls, evaluate risks in new products and business initiatives, investigate incidents to identify root causes and test the effectiveness of controls.
