Job summary

Rabobank in Sydney seeks an experienced Operational Risk Manager to lead governance of Change Execution and Critical Operations, ensuring alignment with APRA CPS 230 and risk practices across large transformation programs. This 6-month contract position supports the Risk in Change and Critical Operations methodologies and embeds strong risk management across the business.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years' experience in Operational Risk Management, Enterprise Risk, Risk in Change, Program Risk or Operational Resilience.
• Experience in banking or a highly regulated environment.
• Experience supporting transformation programs or project delivery risk oversight.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment, governance processes and control frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Governance and oversight across Operational Risk frameworks relating to Change Execution and Critical Operations.
• Develop and enhance policies, standards, methodologies, procedures and tools.
• Drive improvements to Risk in Change Framework and Critical Operations methodologies.
• Ensure APRA CPS 230 requirements are incorporated into risk practices.
• Provide analysis and recommendations to senior management and committees.
• Deliver specialist advice and independent challenge on operational risk matters.
• Provide second-line oversight of changes, transformation programs and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor and report emerging risks and oversee overdue actions.
• Develop and uplift procedures, templates and tools for risk in change.
• Deliver training and guidance to stakeholders and leadership teams.
