Sydney Local Health District is seeking an Operating Assistant to provide clinical support services at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. The role involves assistance in operating theatres, patient transfers, and equipment handling, with a 24/7 rotating roster and on-call requirements.

The ideal candidate will work well in a multidisciplinary team, have strong communication skills, and be willing to learn intraoperative duties. A Working with Children Check is required.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience in intraoperative theatre duties or willingness to learn.
• Ability to commit to a roster providing afternoon and evening cover 7 days a week, including night shift.

Aufgaben

• Provide clinical support in operating theatres and assist with transfers of patients and equipment.
• Assist with cleaning duties and general theatre support.
• Support the movement of patients, staff, equipment and supplies as required.
