Job summary

Green Light Australia is seeking an OpenShift Engineer (NV1) to guide enterprise application and integration development for a federal government client. Based in Melbourne with offices in Canberra, Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, you will specialise in OpenShift Kubernetes and play a key role in architecture, deployment, and troubleshooting.

The role requires an active AGSVA NV1 clearance and willingness to travel interstate.

Qualifications

5+ years professional experience as a RHEL Consultant specialising in OPC (Openshift).
Strong knowledge of container orchestration - Openshift, Kubernetes and Docker.
Experience defining solution architectures and design, implementation and troubleshooting enterprise level solutions.
Ability to manage stakeholders and work with architects in client environments.
Automation and scripting experience with Ansible / Puppet or similar tools.
Experience with RHEL & CoreOS; familiarity with storage and network engineering a bonus.

Responsibilities

Proven OpenShift experience - customer facing on architecture, technical and strategic requirements.
Strong problem solver for containers, orchestration and hybrid cloud deployment.
Ansible playbooks upgrades or other maintenance.
HAProxy troubleshooting and tuning.
OpenShift route configurations and related deployment tasks.
Radware load balancing and Docker Trusted Registry activities.
Splunk monitoring and log analysis.
