Job summary

Hilltops Council is offering an excellent apprenticeship opportunity based out of Boorowa Works Depots. The role trains you in maintenance of open spaces, facilities and amenities while you work towards a Certificate III in Parks & Gardens.

It includes labouring and plant operation duties under supervision and supports rotations across Harden and Young depots within the Hilltops area. This full-time apprenticeship (term up to 4 years) is aimed at recent school leavers looking to pursue a career

Qualifications

• Recent school leavers welcome to start a career in horticulture.
• Willing to undertake the Certificate III in Parks & Gardens as part of the apprenticeship.
• Prepared to perform labouring and plant operation duties under supervision.

• Assist in the maintenance of Council’s open spaces, facilities and amenities.
• Undertake labouring and plant operation duties under supervision.
• Contribute to shaping the natural and urban landscape across Boorowa and Hilltops depots.
