Job summary

Northern Star Mining Services Limited seeks a Production Supervisor for the KCGM Superpit in Western Australia. You will direct and monitor loading and ancillary equipment, drive safety culture, and manage a 7 on/7 off rotating roster at a long-life open pit operation.

You will lead a team, coordinate with dispatch, and uphold our STARR Values—Safety, Teamwork, Accountability, Respect and Results—while delivering targets and developing staff through coaching and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in open pit mining operations.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring and developing team members.
• Strong safety culture and adherence to site protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to unit operators to meet production targets safely and efficiently.
• Monitor performance of people, plans, equipment and change.
• Coordinate with dispatch to ensure adequate dig rates and risk mitigation.
• Build high-performing teams and foster a strong safety culture.
• Collaborate with peer supervisors to meet strategic objectives.
• Ensure incidents are acted upon per site protocols.
• Support development through coaching and leadership growth opportunities.
