Job summary

The Bloomfield Group is seeking Open Cut Mine Operators to work at the Rix’s Creek Mine. You will operate a range of large earthmoving equipment and contribute to safety and production targets, with ownership of safe work practices and effective teamwork.

Roles require multi-skilled operation on multiple machines, pre-start inspections, and coordination with maintenance crews. A current NSW Driver’s License and experience on excavators/loaders/dozers are preferred.

Qualifications

• Safety training and compliance knowledge.
• Ability to work in a team and follow procedures.
• Experience operating multiple heavy mining machines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy mining equipment safely and efficiently.
• Meet production targets with safety as priority.
• Perform pre-start inspections and maintain documentation.
• Communicate with maintenance and production teams on issues.
• Maintain good housekeeping and equipment care.
• Demonstrate commitment to safe work practices.
• Be multi-skilled across at least two equipment types.
• Possess Open Cut Mine Operator experience.
• Build proactive relationships with team members.
• Be willing to work Monday–Friday night shift roster.
• Hold a current NSW Driver’s License.
• Experience operating Excavator, Loaders or Dozers.
