Job summary

The Extend Group in Sydney North, NSW is seeking an Outside of School Hours Area Manager to lead and support multiple OOSH services across the region. You’ll visit sites four days a week, ensure safety, compliance and high-quality outcomes for children, and act as the bridge between schools and head office.

Your experience in Education or Childcare, ACECQA approved qualifications, a valid driver’s license and current Working with Children Check will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing people in Education or Childcare.
• ACECQA approved qualifications such as a Diploma or higher in Child Care, Education, youth work or Community Services.
• Valid Driver’s Licence and access to own car; car allowance provided.
• Working with Children Check and First Aid (HLTAID012) and Child Protection Training are required.

Responsibilities

• Four days a week visiting services to manage safety, compliance and quality outcomes.
• Guide OOSH teams to lead with confidence and enrich children’s experiences.
• Support alignment between School Principals, families, and Head Office to deliver integrated OOSH programs.
• Drive high performance through educator appraisals and service improvements.
