Job summary

Synergie Australia is seeking an OO7 Senior Supervisor for a trusted Government client in Nerang, Gold Coast. You will lead diverse construction projects and coordinate field teams across education, justice and housing facilities.

The role requires strong safety compliance, cost control and tendering experience, with a contract through to April 2027 and hourly pay of 65–70 AUD plus Super.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated construction project supervision experience.

Synergie Australia is seeking an OO7 Senior Supervisorfor atrusted Government client located in Nerang.

The important parts:

• Pay:$65–$70 per hour + Super | Duration:26 October 2026 – 23 April 2027 (potential for extension)

What you will be required to do:

As the Senior Supervisor, you will:

• Manage construction projects across education, justice and housing facilities
• Coordinate field staff, subcontractors and other project resources
• Monitor project expenditure, schedules and delivery milestones
• Prepare detailed scopes of work for construction tenders
• Quote construction work across multiple building trades
• Assist estimators with the preparation of tender documentation
• Conduct site audits to identify hazards and safety concerns
• Ensure construction sites comply with current workplace safety standards
• Manage contracts between the client and subcontractors
• Review contractor claims, extension‑of‑time requests and project delays
• Hold project meetings and provide clear written progress updates
• Liaise with clients, trade staff, office staff, contractors and stakeholders
• Identify emerging project risks and implement appropriate solutions
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records

The projects may involve civil works, concreting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, wall and floor linings, fixtures, fitments and painting.

To be successful in the role you will have:

• A current Construction General Induction Card
• Demonstrated construction project supervision experience
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to monitor project costs and schedules
• Confidence managing contractors and field-based employees
• Competency using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Strong judgement, organisation and problem‑solving capability

The following experience would be highly regarded:

• Construction estimating and quoting experience
• Experience reviewing contractor claims and extension‑of‑time requests
• Relevant workplace safety certificates
• Experience preparing scopes of work and tender documentation
