Job summary

Tyre Doctor is seeking a Tyre Fitter to join our Goonyella-based team. You will lead safety-conscious operations, removing and fitting rims, tyres and wheel assemblies to OEM specs, and conducting tyre inspections on site.

The ideal candidate has experience with large earthmoving tyres in mining or civil environments, holds a Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology, a valid Australian driver’s licence, and a willingness to pass a police check.

Qualifications

• Experience working on large earthmoving tyres in mining or civil environments.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, bulletins and digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the work area in line with safety and operational procedures.
• Remove and fit rims, tyres, and complete wheel assemblies to OEM specifications.
• Perform regular tyre pressure inspections, adjustments, and reporting as required.
• Diagnose tyre wear and damage, and recommend corrective action.
• Access and interpret technical data via manuals, bulletins, and digital platforms.

About the Role

As a Tyre Fitter with Tyre Doctor, your key duties include:

• Leading the work area in line with safety and operational procedures
• Removing and fitting rims, tyres, and complete wheel assemblies to OEM specifications.
• Performing regular tyre pressure inspections, adjustments, and reporting as required.
• Diagnosing tyre wear and damage, and recommending corrective action.
• Accessing and interpreting technical data via manuals, bulletins, and digital platforms.
• Working safely and efficiently in accordance with site and company procedures.

We are seeking individuals who bring a strong work ethic, safety-first attitude, and proven experience in the field. The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working on large earthmoving tyres in mining or civil environments.
• Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology (AUR21920)
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
• A current Police Check or able to complete
• A commitment to safety, teamwork, and high-quality workmanship.
