Weir Minerals is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join our Site Services team in Perth, Western Australia. This on-site role focuses on installing, repairing and maintaining equipment across mining sites, with emphasis on reliability and safety.

You’ll work closely with the Site Service team, perform installations and re-builds, and contribute to cost-effective, timely service delivery while upholding Weir's safety culture.

Qualifikationen

• Trade qualification in Fitting/Machining (Certificate 3+).
• Mining site fitting experience with focus on detail (Warman pumps).
• Current driver’s license.
• Pass pre-employment medical and regular drug/alcohol tests.

Aufgaben

• Manage all on site installations, repairs, maintenance and tasks as per scope of work provided.
• Recommend improvements to reduce total cost of ownership (TOC).
• Develop strong relationships with key customers to meet expectations and address issues.
• Show flexibility under urgent or breakdown conditions to service customer requirements.
• Liaise with Site Service Supervisor to ensure installations and commissioning are timely and cost-effective.
• Safety First: demonstrate 100% commitment to zero-harm culture.
