Position Descriptor: Indulkana Anangu School is located on the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands in the far north of South Australia. Guided by our school values of kunpu (strong), wanganara (respectful), and arkara (try your best), we deliver quality education to children and young people in Indulkana community.

Indulkana is a well-resourced remote community, home to the vibrant Iwantja Arts Centre, a community store, and a health clinic, located approximately 50 km from Marla off the Stuart Highway.

We nurture and help our students to develop skills as leaders of tomorrow in both Anangu and Western culture.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our early years team. The Preschool teacher will work closely in a team, lead by our Early Years Coordinator, with our Early Years Anangu Educators, Junior Primary Teacher, and Families as First Teachers (FAFT) SSO.

In this position, the teacher will deliver the Early Years Learning Framework in a culturally responsive environment, planning alongside Anangu educators to deliver strong learning outcomes in both English and First Language. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for teaching in a remote bilingual setting.

The school supports a two-way, culturally focused approach to teaching and learning. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork, a commitment to cultural responsiveness, and a keen interest in fostering positive learning experiences for students across the school.

In addition to the salary, the following financial incentives apply:

• Country Zone Allowance and Locality Allowance (approx $24,000pa)
• Fully Subsidised Accommodation including all utilities (accommodation may be shared)
• Removal and Relocation expenses
• Travel and accommodation costs for medical and dental treatment
• Four paid travel days each term
