Job summary

Outwood Academy Freeston is seeking a Graduate or AS/A2 qualified teacher to deliver one-to-one English tutoring. The role requires excellent communication, listening skills and strong time management. Experience in schools is desirable, with focus on GCSE support and intervention materials.

The position is temporary and part-time, based in Normanton, with a pay rate of £37.03 per hour. You will report to the Head of Department and collaborate with teachers to plan effective learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Graduate in a related subject or AS/A2 level in a relevant subject or be a qualified teacher.

Responsibilities

• Deliver intervention programmes to individuals, working with department staff to prepare and implement appropriate learning experiences.
• Develop suitable intervention material, lesson plans and resources.
• Report on individual pupil progress and liaise with Head of Department and teachers to provide feedback.
• Support exam revision sessions and comply with Child Safeguarding Procedures at all times.

About The Role
